We absolutely loved the microclover, but it has turned into regular clover - possibly due to the fact that we have never mowed it - which we also love. We seeded it last October and it came in so beautifully in the spring. We only gave it about 3 days of watering total over the summer and it mostly made it through just fine. We are in Bellingham, WA.

Thank you for sharing your experience from Bellingham! You’re absolutely right microclover will stay ‘micro’ when it’s mowed regularly, but if left to grow, it can take on the look of traditional clover. It sounds like your stand has done wonderfully since last fall, especially with so little watering through the summer that’s a true testament to its resilience! We’re glad you’re enjoying it in both forms, and we appreciate you highlighting this for other growers considering microclover.
