Microbe-Lift Barley Straw Pellets are rich in organic peat, a natural substance that can attack microorganisms and materials that may keep your pond cloudy.

Additionally, these Barley Straw Pellets help produce hydrogen peroxide, an oxidizing agent that is responsible for keeping your water crystal clear. Not only will your pond water be pretty, but it will have reduced concentrations of harmful chemicals. Nitrate and phosphate are banished from your pond as the water softens.

Looking for a lawn alternative I read about microclover and decided to give this a try. Just planted it by using a pepper shaker as the seeds are super small. I am anxiously awaiting its germination so it's too early to tell....
