Absolute Acid 1-0-0 is a complex of weak acids from the hydroxycarboxylic family. To enhance water penetration, these weak acids are complex. Like most other 'strong' acids on the market, Absolute Acid is not designed to treat every drop of water. Instead, Absolute Acid is to prepare our soils to accept the marginal quality of the water that we experience today. Absolute Acid will react with soil calcium and convert it into a form that is five times more "available nutrient" than gypsum and also supports a "exchange reaction." When incorporated with Absolute Acid, salt management can be integrated with successful calcium programs and will provide bio-rational results (safe to living soil). By using low frequency rates of Absolute Acid, salt management can be achieved. Chloride, sodium, carbonates, bicarbonates, and sulfates are the critical salts which are often found at near toxic or toxic levels. Many other nutrients are found to be imbalanced, such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, and other micro-nutrients. Absolute Acid helps to solubilize and remove excessive negative salts, and promotes other ions' displacement and balance. As our soils dry, excess bicarbonates precipitate out as calcium, forming a white crusty layer at the soil interface. Absolute Acid prevents the loss of calcium from the soil and prevents excess salts, especially sodium, from accumulating. Absolute Acid can be combined with Ferticell Calcium 880 Plus or Perfect Blend 2-2-1 Plus 15% Ca applications to continuously improve solubility and convert to crop-accessible forms.
